Pacific Lutheran College offers academic, music and general excellence scholarships for selected year levels. All three types of scholarships are merit based, and details are provided below. There are also a small number of bursaries allocated each year on the basis of financial need. Both bursaries and scholarships provide for a percentage remission of tuition fees. The percentage remission for scholarships is determined by the performance of the candidate. Academic scholarships for entry into Years 6, 7, 8, 10 and 11 are offered based on the results of the Edutest Scholarship testing program, NAPLAN results, school reports, competition results and an interview with the Principal. All students applying for scholarships will need to have completed an application form for entry to the College and an interview prior to the date of the scholarship test. Applications for the academic scholarship tests close on March 18th 2012.

Music scholarships are offered for entry into Year 6, Year 7, Year 8 and Year 10. Scholarships are offered on the basis of the results of a musicianship test and an audition. For entry into 2013, the music scholarships will be conducted on Saturday March 17th. To register, students will need to have completed an application fonm for entry into the College and completed the music scholarship application form. Application forms can be obtained from the College Registrar, Mrs Chris Henschke via phone 54367300 or by email (chenschke@pacluth.qld.edu.au) and need to be lodged by Wednesday March 14th. Successful candidates will need to complete an interview with the Principal prior to a scholarship being awarded.
General excellence scholarships are awarded to students for entry into Years 6-11 who have demonstrated excellence in selected areas of human endeavour, who display high levels of community commitment and service and are willing to support the Christian ethos of the College. General excellence scholarships are competitive scholarships and a limited number will be offered each year. To apply, students will need to have completed an application form for entry into the College accompanied by the following material. The first round of applications for these scholarships close on Friday March 23rd.
