Primary Independent District Athletics Carnival

On Tuesday, Pacific was represented by a team of students from Years 3 -7 at the Primary Independent Athletics Carnival held at the University of the Sunshine Coast. The level of competition was outstanding with several records broken on the day.

PLC finished in 4th place overall at the end of the carnival out of 10 schools competing on the day. This was a great achievement considering we were missing a high number of students due to illness.

Whilst all Pacific students competed exceptionally well on the day, I would like to recognise some outstanding individual results from the carnival. Well done to the following students who finished in the top three places for their events.

Congratulations to Gemma Bryce who was runner up Age Champion for the 10-year girls and Booka Bell who was Age Champion for the 12-year boys. Well done to both Booka and Gemma for their outstanding results on the day.

The 10 -12 years Independent District team to compete at the Sunshine Coast Regional Athletics Carnival will be released in the next few days. Pacific students who have been selected in this team will be notified by the College.
