Did you know that approximately 1 billion containers of cans and bottles are still ending up in landfill or the environment? That equates to more than $100 million worth of refunds still available to our schools, community, charities and businesses within Queensland.

Kids in Action would like to talk to you about our new containers for change program in the Junior College. As well as trying to establish a sustainable way to collect and dispose of our containers, we have entered a Battle of the School's competition- with express recycling.

If you are looking for a way to donate, we have a drive-in donation idea.

The drive-in donations is a new initiative where all you need to do is bring your donated cans along with your children and drop them into the bins provided in the P-2 drop-off zones on Wednesday mornings.  Members of our Kids in Action team will be there to help you with your container donations!

The dates that we will be there to collect, this term are:

•          Wednesday 17th May

•          Wednesday 24th May

•          Wednesday 31st may

•          Wednesday 7th June

•          Wednesday 14th June

•          Wednesday 21st June (last day of Term 2)

Thank you for acknowledging the Kids in Action’s first program!
