All Schools’ Basketball

Well done to all on a successful first week of basketball competition, with our Senior teams kicking off the season last Friday.

Special mention to our Senior E boys team who played exceptionally well for their first ever game of basketball walking away with our biggest winning margin. The boys learned a lot in their first game and are looking forward to the rest of the season. Our Senior B girls team also did very well under the guidance of their coach – Brooklyn Graves, winning both of their double-header games with a narrow win against Mountain Creek.

Our Senior B boys also played two games at Caloundra, which was great preparation for their CBSQ tournament at the end of the term. The boys played well together in their first game, defeating NCC; and fought hard against Kawana in their second game, with a late charge to make up a big deficit from the first quarter, but came up short in the end. It was a great effort from the boys, led by Mr Burdon.

Week 1 results

Round two continues Friday this week. Please continue to check the draws for game times and locations. Any parents/siblings who can help score, please let Mr Mark Hauser know throughout the week.
