Term Four Gala Day

Last Thursday, students participated in their final Gala Day for 2018. Thankfully there were clear skies and good weather for the day. Students travelled to various venues from right here in Caloundra all the way up to Noosa to represent Pacific in their chosen sport.

From both teacher and student reports, it was a great day of competition between the SCISSA schools with Pacific lucky enough to claim three overall divisional wins at the end of the day. Congratulations to the following teams who won their division:

Boys 5/6 Div A Volleyball – PLC Team 2

Boys Year 4 Volleyball – PLC Team 1

Boys Year 4 Touch Football

A very big thank you to all teachers, teacher aides and external PLC coaches who coached a team during the year. Thank you for your patience and guidance to help develop sport with the 4 - 6 cohort.

  4-6 Sports Awards

With the Junior SCISSA sport program now finished for the year we will celebrate the achievements of 2018 next Tuesday at our Junior Sports Awards. The awards will be held in the school gymnasium from 12.00 – 1.00pm. This year Stephanie Wood (Sunshine Coast Lightning and Australian Diamonds Netball player) will be our guest speaker and presenter. We look forward to hearing Stephanie’s story next Tuesday.

Parents are more than welcome to attend these awards.
