Interhouse Cross Country

Congratulations to Wira house who just pipped Buran for first place in the Senior Interhouse Cross Country on the first Friday of Term 1. It was a fantastic afternoon enjoyed by students and staff alike being a great way to end Term 1. It was great to see many of our students challenge themselves and do their best to run the course. There was plenty of support and encouragement from all the House teams on the day. Well done to Bula House for their efforts in being awarded the Spirit Trophy.

Athletes who finished in the top 6 have now qualified for the school team which will run at the Independent District Cross-Country at the Fisherman’s Road Sport Fields on Tuesday the 30th of April. We are expecting all our nominated student runners to represent PLC at this event.

Volleyball

Our Year 9 Boys and Girls have their first round of games this Friday in the Trish Buckley Competition. It is fantastic to see so many younger students involved in representative volleyball this term. Students and parents are encouraged to keep an eye on their emails and NAV Calendars for any updates to the draw that may occur. We wish our teams all the best this week.
